Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment, especially if it is your first visit, to allow time for consultation and relaxation.
Late arrivals of over 10 minutes may result in a shorter treatment time. If you are 15 minutes or more late, your appointment may be classed as a no-show, and the full treatment cost will apply.
All appointment durations include preparation and post-treatment time. Please respect the schedule, as it ensures fairness and punctuality for all clients.
Consultations are required prior to all new treatments and are strictly confidential.
Patch tests are mandatory at least 24–48 hours before treatments such as tinting, lash lift, lash extensions, Crystal Microdermabrasion, or other advanced services. Failure to complete a patch test within the required timeframe will result in cancellation of the appointment and may incur a charge.
We understand that sometimes plans change. To respect your time and ours, we kindly request the following:
Repeat late cancellations may require full pre-payment for future bookings.
Cancellations should be made via text, phone call, or directly through the booking app.
All services and prices are subject to availability and may change without prior notice. We will always endeavour to keep website and in-salon information accurate and up to date.
Prepaid treatment packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
These series bookings apply to the same treatment only and cannot be combined with other offers or promotions. Full-priced gift vouchers may be redeemed against these packages, but promotional vouchers cannot.
Due to hygiene and safety regulations, we are unable to offer refunds on opened products. If a product is faulty, we will return it to the supplier on your behalf. All treatments are delivered to the highest standards with your wellbeing in mind. We do not offer refunds on services, but if you are dissatisfied, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address your concerns appropriately.
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. They are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Vouchers / codes must be presented at the time of booking and brought to the appointment.
Vouchers cannot be used to purchase items or treatments on special offer and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Voucher bookings are subject to the same cancellation policies as above.
Our loyalty scheme rewards regular clients with discounts on full-priced treatments. Loyalty points are automatically awarded on selected full-priced treatments. Please note that not all services are eligible for loyalty point accrual or redemption. We reserve the right to adjust the points allocation structure or exclude certain services from the loyalty programme at any time without prior notice.
If loyalty cards are provided, they are non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and must not be used in conjunction with package deals or promotional discounts.
Please inform us of any medical conditions, pregnancy, allergies, or recent treatments that may affect your service. Some treatments may require a letter from your GP or may not be suitable under certain conditions.
Clients must be 18 years or older to receive aesthetic treatments. Some beauty treatments may be available for younger clients with parental consent, depending on insurance approval. Please contact us for advice before booking.
Due to health and safety, and to ensure a relaxing experience for all, children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times and may not be allowed in the treatment area. I am unable to supervise children during your appointment, and certain treatments are not suitable in their presence. This especially during aesthetic or advanced skincare treatments. These procedures require a sterile, sanitised environment to maintain strict hygiene and safety standards, and to minimise the risk of contamination.
In addition, many of our treatments involve equipment, needles, or advanced electrical devices, which can pose potential hazards in the presence of unsupervised children. We want to ensure both client safety and treatment efficacy, and a calm, focused environment is essential for this.
We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a professional and hygienic space for all our clients.
We accept cash, card payments, and bank transfer (for voucher purchases). Please check in advance if you wish to pay by cheque. All payments must be made on the day of your treatment unless previously agreed.
Salon hygiene is a top priority. All tools and equipment are sterilised using professional-grade methods approved by the local Environmental Health Officer. The treatment room and equipment are cleaned thoroughly between appointments to maintain a safe, hygienic environment.
Please keep your belongings with you at all times. I recommend leaving valuables at home where possible. Opulent Tranquility Beauty by Maria cannot accept responsibility for lost or forgotten items.
To maintain the peaceful ambiance of the salon, please silence your mobile phone and refrain from taking calls during your treatment.
Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the premises.
All personal information provided during consultations is kept secure and confidential.
